Valentine’s Day Mini Cards
Valentine’s Day is nearly here. Probably the most celebrated ‘Hallmark holiday’ of all time, it’s still nice to share the love, without buying into the commercial hype (not that I’m at all averse to massive novelty cards, send them my way chaps ;))
Inspired by my recent discovery of Pinterest, I’ve created some fun printable fold-and-send cards which you can put together with minimal stress and lots of love and warm feelings and all that good stuff.
The PDF files for each set of cards (without my little personalisation) can be downloaded here:
‘take a lover who looks at you like maybe you are magic’ – Frida Kahlo Download here
i carry your heart with me(i carry it in my heart) – e. e. cummings Download here
If you were a transformer, you’d be Optimus Fine Download here
Love is Patient, Love is Kind Download here
Once they’re printed (and feel free to design your own if you would like to use different quotes) on good quality card, cut around the edges of each outline, and score along the four white lines which make up the main rectangle, being sure to go all the way to the edges so that the cards fold properly
Add your own message, and fold in the sides, taping the ‘envelope’ closed with a piece of craft or masking tape. You can distribute them by hand, with candy, or anonymously, if that’s the way you roll. I’ve made a set for my flatmates (who will probably think I’m crazy) and the rest I stamped and addressed and sent off ready for the big day.
There never has to be a reason to tell the people you love that you love them, but Valentine’s Day is a pretty good reminder. I hope these printables make the process even easier.
Big Love, PV x
