Food Friday: Roast Vegetable Chips
Isn’t this exciting?!
I’m not exactly fantastic at cooking, but I recently found an awesome recipe which even I can manage, and it only takes about fifteen minutes to prepare so I thought I would quickly share it.
You will need:
A selection of root vegetables (I used Carrots, Parsnips and a Sweet potato)
Salt and Pepper,
(optionally, you can add a red onion)
I used one of each and it made enough for three portions
Peel and julienne the veg, then place on a large baking tray or sheet, lightly brushed with cooking oil.
Sprinkle with the herbs and seasonings and place in a preheated oven at 200 degrees (Gas mark 6) for twenty minutes
After twenty minutes, turn the veg and replace in the oven for another twenty minutes.
Finally, remove from the oven and marvel at your little colourful chips of deliciousness.
